Why I'm Running
I’ve lived in Ward 10 for more than ten years. This is my home, and I’ve seen the ward change a lot during that time.There’s more housing being built, more development happening and more pressure on our roads, transit and other services. I think that growth is important, but we need to make sure the rest of the community keeps up with it.
My Priorities
Reliable Transit
Reliable service and better connections between Ward 10 neighbourhoods and the rest of the city.
Safer Roads
Traffic calming where it is needed, safer crossings and better sidewalks and pedestrian connections.
Better housing
We need more housing, but growth needs to be matched by the roads, transit, sidewalks, drainage, parks and other infrastructure that residents need.
City Services
Garbage collection, snow clearing, road maintenance and making sure residents can get problems resolved without having to keep calling.
Responsible Funding
I want Council to be careful about major spending commitments, look at the full cost of projects and make sure we're putting the highest-priority needs first.
